Heading up this service for the Pro-Act Group is Greg Beard. Greg is a civil engineer and have more than 25 years’ experience in the construction and building consulting industry. He has an in-depth understanding of construction methodologies, design and materials and has appeared as an expert witness in more than twenty building defect cases.
About Greg
Greg Beard is a Civil Engineer and expert witness for the construction and safety industry. Greg has over 25 years’ experience in the building industry and has been a founding member and director of multi-disciplinary engineering consultancies, overseeing the work of over 20 engineers and consultants.
Greg had prepared many reports and provided expert opinions on more than 3,000 properties participating at all levels of the dispute process including mediation, arbitration, or providing evidence in court.
Greg has specific interests in providing expert evidence in building defects disputes, personal injury claims and construction related accidents. His expertise and experience in Engineering, building and safety, provides the client with a unique skill set that is respected by clients and the courts.
Greg has also developed over 50 residential and commercial properties and understands the entire building process.
On a personal level, Greg can be described as a well-balanced, honest and credible person with the ability to remain focussed and unflustered in pressure situations.
